F.I.T. 103 – Introductory Course
Course Overview
What You’ll Learn
Has your agency recently acquired a facial recognition system? Are you adjudicating candidate lists from a facial recognition system? Then this 16-hour course is for you! Created to the FISWG standard for minimum training requirements for use of a facial recognition system, topics covered at a high level will include history, science & anatomy, morphological features of the face, and comparison methodologies.
This class will be offered for 4 hours/day over 4 consecutive days and includes on-line interaction to provide the student with an opportunity to ask questions of our highly-skilled instructors. Event Details
All online courses require the following:
- A work-provided computer or a personal computer
- A high-speed Internet Service Provider
- A speaker (or headset)
- A camera (or webcam) (recommended)
Things to know about the class:
- Day 1 will be focused on the lecture.
- Days 2-4 will be focused on practical exercises with feedback from the instructor.
- Class participation (through microphone or chat) is encouraged in discussions surrounding the lecture and practical exercises.
- Breaks will be given throughout the class.
