Do you fully understand the nuances of courtroom testimony? If you’ve never faced the pressures of testifying on the witness stand, the Face Center of Excellence (FaCE) offers the ideal training.

This exclusive two-day, in-person course is the only one of its kind for facial examination professionals and is essential for anyone who may be subpoenaed to testify. The course is designed to prepare you for the unique challenges of courtroom testimony, equipping you with the skills to present your opinions confidently and effectively.

The class is held over two consecutive days, with 8 hours of instruction each day. It is available both virtually and in person.

Event Details

All online courses require the following:

A work-provided computer or a personal computer
A high-speed Internet Service Provider
A speaker (or headset) and microphone
A camera (or webcam) (recommended).

Things to know about the class:

Day 1 focuses on the lecture and practical exercises (i.e., qualifying questions and reviewing a comparison).
- When the class is taught virtually, class times may vary to give the students time to prepare for moot court.
Day 2 focuses on moot court.
- Class time may vary depending on the number of students enrolled in the course.
Class participation (through microphone or chat) is encouraged in discussions surrounding the lecture and practical exercises.
Breaks are given throughout the class.

Platform: Microsoft Teams (can be used in a web browser or downloaded/installed on your computer https://teams.microsoft.com/downloads)

Software: An answer sheet formatted in Microsoft Excel (can be uploaded into Google Sheets) and a pdf copy of the presentation
